How to keep your place on the chart

When your cross stitch chart includes lots of small multicoloured details you can easy lose your place. Make a photocopy of the chart on the cross stitch graph paper for example, and mark each stitched area with coloured pencils. It helps to keep track of all stitched areas. And besides now you can take a break because when you come back to your stitching, with this photocopy you will find your place easier than ever.

You can also tack a grid on your fabric. So you will match your work with the grid on the cross stitch chart. And by the way this way you will count your stitches easily and quickly.
